My name is Jamie Covelli and I’m a Broadcasting major with minors in Journalism and Multimedia Design. I’m a very big media person, mainly in the Video Game department. I started playing my first video game when I was 2 or 3 years-old on the Nintendo Entertainment System (Released in the 1980s) and have played almost every console since then.

So why start a blog and what’s with the 340?

This blog was created as a way to learn how to blog and write a journalistic piece in the digital world, which is actually what the 340 is. The class that helps teach this is called Journalism 340: Intro to Digital Journalism which is taught at Central Michigan University. With this class, it is to help hone in the skills that are needed in this new age of journalism. So what do you say? Care to join in the journey the digital world has to offer?
