Illinois mom keeps busy during coronavirus lockdown.

During the exercise I decided to take pictures of Julie Covelli, my mother, during lockdown. Normally, she is working throughout the day, however due to the virus, she is limited to being at home and tries to keep herself busy. She discussed that due to stores being low on food, she has to cook in smaller portions while also having more time than she knows what to do with. It was difficult getting a fourth photo, mainly due to the area and being limited to the home environment.

While taking this headshot photo exercise of my mom, Julie Covelli. I tried to get the appropriate lighting and chose a’ homey’ feel background. I will say, during this exercise, and this is common for me, but I sometimes forget my objective for a photo like head and shoulders or rule of thirds so I need to get better at that.
